It’s been a while! A few weeks have now passed since my last blog (where did they go?)
I am pleased to say these hectic few weeks has all been worthwhile. At the most recent MS Australia Board meeting, we discussed the achievements of MS Australia. Our small but dedicated team has made quite an impact so far. Thank you all for your support.
We have also been busying ourselves with preparations for the inaugural MS Champions Forum incorporating the Advocates Conference, where MS advocates from around Australia will meet and share ideas about empowering the MS community and advocating for change. This is taking place next week and we are very excited about getting this passionate group of people together.
Today I am in Canberra with some of the MSA team to meet with the Parliamentary Friends of MS. I’ll report back next week!
I would also like to take this opportunity to welcome Dr Matthew Miles to the position of Chief Executive Officer at Multiple Sclerosis Research Australia (MSRA). Matthew comes to MSRA from the University of New South Wales School of Medicine. His experience will be such an asset to MSRA. I look forward to working with Matthew.
One of the items we will be discussing during the conference next week is blogging. Do you subscribe to any blogs you would recommend? In your opinion, what makes a “good” blog?
